Skytrex Langkawi Adventure Park offers a myriad of eco-recreational and educational activities with its many aerial obstacle challenges. Langkawi Cable Car
Langkawi SkyCab, or more commonly known as Langkawi Cable Car is just 5 minutes drive from The Danna Langkawi. Located on the oldest part of Southeast Asia where the ancient sea emerged into a delta, it is not only the steepest cable car ride in the world but also the longest free span mono-cable car!
Be ready to experience an exhilarating journey as you are hovered over some lush jungles and 550 million years old rocks of Mat Chincang Mountain! The highest platform of the cable car is 708 meters above sea level where you can appreciate spectacular 360 degrees panoramic views of the Langkawi islands and Southern Thailand.

A short 2-minute drive from The Danna Langakwi to one of the oldest rainforests on the planet, Umgawa Legendary Adventures’ eco-adventure canopy treetop zipline tour is an exhilarating way to experience the rainforest, learn of Langkawi’s natural treasures in a fun, educational, safe, but adventurous outing. This is not your typical zipline course; see views of Langkawi, Telaga Tujuh Waterfall (Seven Wells Waterfall), the Andaman Sea, the Mat Chinchang Mountain, Cambrian Geoforest and more. Should you be lucky, you would be spotting flying primates called Colugos, Dusky Monkeys, Langkawi’s famous hornbill, nesting and feeding its young, or take in some of Langkawi’s stunning, exotic flora as you glide through a carefully designed and planned eco-tour.
This crocodile farm covers an area of 8 hectares and is home to more than 1,000 crocodiles of various species. Among the attractions at Langkawi Crocodile farm are the feeding pond, breeding pond, show pond and bridge over pond.

If you are looking for traditional crafts, then the Langkawi Craft Complex is a visit as it is a one-stop arts and crafts centre filled with various craft works. Here, you would be able to find forest-based products, local fabrics, ceramics, metal artifacts and beautiful objects representing the various ethnic groups in Malaysia.
Laman Padi Langkawi or the Rice Fields showcases the history, heritage and development of the nation’s ricer growing industry. At the Roof Top Garden, you can see the different sorts of rice growing in mini fields. You can also enjoy the aroma of the cultivated fragrant rice with a bird’s eye view of rice planting activities in paddy fields from the rooftop.During the evening, you may wish to dine in the outdoors.
Underwater World Langkawi
No visit to the island is complete without visiting the Underwater World Langkawi as it is one of the largest marine and fresh water aquaria in South East Asia. It features a gigantic 15-meter long walk-through tunnel filled with 500,000 liters of seawater to house many amazing sea creatures.
Legend behind this island is narrated at the Makam Mahsuri means Mahsuri’s Tomb. The most beautiful but tragic legend of Langkawi is told by the story of Mahsuri. Myth be told that she was the most beautiful woman who has ever lived on the island but was unjustly accused of adultery and executed by stabbing. Her final resting place was built centuries after she was unjustly killed at Padang Mat Sirat and then rebuilt from the earlier one constructed under the supervision of Malaysia's first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, who had served as the island's District Officer in 1936.
Air Hangat Village
Air Hangat Village literally means Hot Springs Village. Is one of the world's only four saline hot springs The main attraction of this place is the impressive 3-tiered hot spring fountain and the 18-meter high long hand-carved river stone mural depicting a local legend. Air Hangat Village houses 4 small hot water pools, it is believed to contain therapeutic water with curative properties. The village also hosts offers other interesting activities like cultural dance shows, batik painting, wood carving and elephant performances.
Accross the other side of Langkawi is the main Kuah town, located on the southeast corner of the island and is the arrival point for most of the ferries. Kuah is not without its charms – the town has many excellent duty-free stores selling almost everything from all around the world, from fine wines to hard liquors, perfumes, tobacco & cigars, confectionery, handicrafts, branded apparel and more are easily found.
The Lagenda Park is located beside the Kuah Jetty. This is a beautifully landscaped folklore-themed park. This open air ‘garden museum’ faces the Kuah Waterfront, where tourists can get a beautiful wide-angle view of the Kuah Harbour with the famous Eagle Square in the background. The 50-hectare compound houses a collection of colourful statues, stone carvings and cultural displays depicting the mythical tales of Langkawi.
The iconic Dataran Lang or Eagle Square is spotted a mile away when in Langkawi. Sprawled across 19 acres on reclaimed land, the 12-meter tall brown eagle statue is located to the front left of the Jetty Mall Complex in Kuah. For a more comfortable and enjoyable experience, visit the Eagle Square in the evenings when the eagle statue and the entire area lits brightly as it could be very warm during the mid day. The Eagle Square is also nearby other attractions including the Lagenda Park, Geo Park and the Jetty Point Shopping Mall.
This is a place where all the locals gather, selling daily use goods and local Malay foods. This kind of night market is available 7 nights a week but in different locations such as Kuah Town, Kedawang, Ulu Melaka, Air Hangat and Padang Matsirat. Visiting to a night market is the best way to experience the local food culture. Usually starts operating from 6:30pm, the night markets are located at:

Temporary Closure of Jacuzzi
Please be advised that on short notification, the Jacuzzi pool will be temporarily closed for essential repairs. This is due to a major leakage causing massive loss of water in the systems. Coincidentally due to safety hazardous reasons, the tiles requires to be replaced immediately. The entire duration of maintenance works will take approximately 6 weeks starting from the 8th May 2018. To facilitate the repairs in an orderly manner, the Jacuzzi will be hoarded. We will try our levels best to minimize noise disruption. We are glad to announce that the main pool, kids pool and the poolside remains open to all in-house guests. F&B services around the poolside and operational hours remain unchanged.
