ASSISTANT FOOD & BEVERAGE DIRECTOR

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Candidate must be possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Overseas experience in a boutique luxury resort is an advantage.
  • Must have a very good eye for detail with emphasis on quality at all times.
  • Must be very hands on and able to train and lead the team
  • Willing to be based on Langkawi Island, Malaysia
  • Full-Time position(s) available.

KEY TASK

The Assistant Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for giving strategic direction to the entire food & beverage service team and is responsible for continually focusing on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation and effective cost controls.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the operational activities of the food and beverage service team
  • Maintain the smooth running and efficiency of the outlets with the management standard.
  • Ensure personalized and courteous service to guests.
  • Check on regular basis hygiene and grooming of staff.
  • Work with all servers, captains, hostesses and line staff at all times.
  • Assist all F&B staff in serving and guest handling.
  • Check quality of all products served in outlet.
  • Manages performance issues that arise within the respective operating departments.
  • Maintain the highest standard of guest satisfaction.
  • Motivate staff to obtain maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicates with team members
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations
  • Conduct with daily briefings.
  • To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.
  • To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
  • To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.


ASSISTANT REVENUE MANAGER cum RESERVATION MANAGER

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor/Degree or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Skills: Revenue Analysis, Revenue Risk Management, Revenue Planning, Revenue Forecasting, Revenue Enhancement, Hotel Management.
  • A good spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu
  • Must be very hands on and able to train and lead the team
  • Willing to be based on Langkawi Island, Malaysia
  • Full-Time position(s) available.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with General Manager, Sales &, Front Office department to ensure departmental objectives and responsibilities are met.
  • Assist Revenue Manager to monitor and analyse competitor set
  • Assist Revenue Manager to monitor and maintain Global Distribution System, Internet & Central Reservations System
  • Drive growth for Brand website and Third Party Internet channels.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt, effective and proper reservations service to achieve maximum room revenue in order to meet and exceed the revenue target.
  • Supervising of group reservations
  • Monitor on room avail capability in order to avoid overbooked situation.


SPA MANAGER

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Candidate must be possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • 2 years experience in the spa, guest services or related professional area.
  • Must be very hands on and able to train and lead the team
  • Willing to be based on Langkawi Island, Malaysia
  • Full-Time position(s) available.

JOB SUMMARY

Position has responsibility for supervising and coordinating activities of employees delivering spa services, including salon, skin care, program coordination, reservations, reception desk and massage. Position focuses on ensuring guest and employee satisfaction and achieving the operating budget.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting Management of Spa Operations and Budgets
  • Comprehends budgets and operating statement as needed to assist in the financial management of department.
  • Manages supplies and equipment inventories within budget
  • Ensuring and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service level.
  • Ensures employees understand expectation and parameters
  • Participates in an on-going employee recognition program.


DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Required Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate in Digital Technology or equivalent.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fulltime position available

Job Description

  • Plan and execute all Web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence.
  • Responsible for regular updating of corporate website from content and designing perspective.
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge to interpret our visual design needs and to develop design solutions with high visual impact.
  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website

Key Responsibilities:

  • Skills in Digital Marketing including SEO/SEM, Digital Campaigns, E-mail marketing, managing social media presence
  • Brainstorming and presenting creative design & content
  • Working with a wide range of digital media using graphic design software
  • Thinking creatively and developing visual graphics
  • Competent in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel etc.
  • Should have a great eye for visual design and have strong capability of working in Illustrator, Microsoft Powerpoint, and Photoshop
  • Should have a positive, collaborative attitude with the ability to engage with people at all levels


JUNIOR SOUS CHEF

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Candidate must be possess in Hospitality Culinary in Certificate/ Diploma / Degrees or
  • 2 years degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related professional area.
  • Mature leader, confident , must be very hands on and able to train and lead the team
  • Willing to be based on Langkawi Island, Malaysia
  • Full-Time position(s) available.

JOB SUMMARY

Management position that focuses on successfully accomplishing the daily objectives in the Italian Restaurant - Terrace Kitchen. Position focuses on ensuring guest and employee satisfaction and achieving the operating budget.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring Culinary Standard and Responsibilities are met.
  • Maintain food handling and sanitation standards
  • Responsible for the day to day management of associate working in the Department.
  • Checks the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
  • Maintaining culinary goals
  • Liaise with others Chefs to streamline operations.
  • Supervise daily food preparation and service requirement
  • Assist the Chef in the performance of his/her role.
  • Monitor all kitchen equipment to ensure safe and functional operation
